Wash vase in clean, soapy water and dry well 2. Before you start, read the instructions that came with your stencils. 3. Cut apart the stencils with a scissor and arrange them so you will have enough pieces to create 4 different scenes, one for each side. 4. Starting on one side, lay the stencil onto the glass with the dull side against the glass and the shiny side up. Tape the stencil to the glass. Rub over the stencil with the popsicle stick until the stencil transfers onto the glass. Remove the plastic from the stencil. View the directions and How To Video here. 5. Cover the entire side of the vase surrounding the stencil with masking tape overlapping all edges. 6. PAT the etch cream on the stencil in a random pattern (do not brush it on) until completely covered with 1/4 inch of cream. 7. Wait 2 minutes. Turn the vase upside down (so no water goes inside the vase while rinsing) Rinse off all the cream under very warm water. Stencil should start coming off during this process. Remove the tape and any remaining stencil and rinse again. Dry vase thoroughly. 8. Repeat steps 4-7 with the other 3 sides. 9.Pour a little beach sand inside vase up to the bottom of the etchings. Decorate with shells, stones and other sea treasures |
