BOO! This poor little guy gets spooked every time someone turns off the lights. I think it is those darn bats again.They can t resist trying to scare him half to death! Materials: 15-0200 Armour Etch Cream #21-1646 Over N Over Goofy Faces #08-9999 Gloves #08-9606 Brushes #08-9415 Masking tape Light bulb bottle 2 Heavy cardstock yellow moons 1 1/2 inches long 1 small purple bat w wiggle eyes 3/4 inch high black cardstock BOO letter cutouts 6 inches heavy craft wire 2 blue or purple 12 or 14mm rhinestone stars Hot glue gun Glue stick for paper Paper towels General Directions: 1. Wash bottle with hot, soapy dish detergent, rinse and dry well. 2. Apply the goofy face with the hands onto the bottle 3. Surround stencil with masking tape 4. Put on the gloves. PAT the Armour Etch glass etching cream on the stencils with the brush. Do not brush it on like you are painting. Patting the cream on will avoid streaking and give you a brighter etching.View the directions and How To video HERE 5. Wait 5 minutes. Rinse off all the Etch cream. Remove tape and stencil and rinse again. Pat dry 6. Wrap one end of the wire around the threaded part of the bottle, Turn it so the wire sticks out to the left of the etched face. 7. Twist and secure the short end until it is tight. Curl the long end of the wire with a pencil into a single loop . 8. Take the cardstock moon and have the points facing to your right. Squeeze some hot glue onto the middle of one of the moons. Lay the curled end of the wire into the puddle of glue and quickly place the other moon on top. Squeeze the sandwich together and hold until glue is set. 9. Take the letters for BOO and apply glue to the backside with a glue stick. Apply down the outside edge of the moon (see picture) 10. Glue a bat across the top of the moon with the glue stick 11. Hot glue the rhinestone stars as shown |
