Sparkle Spiral Bud Vases

These dollar store bud vases were dressed up with an etched heart and stars theme from the Over n Over stencil line. No one would ever know they were from the dollar store! The stencil sheet comes with four different sparkly borders that are great for table centerpieces, parties, favors or holidays or the wedding on a tight budget. Add some rhinestones for added pop!

Materials:

#15-0200 Armour Etch Cream

#21-1625 Over N Over stencil- Sparkle Borders

#08-9606 Brushes

#08-9999 Rubber gloves

#08-9415 Masking tape

6 inch Bud Vases

Optional- small crystal rhinestones, glass glue or Hot Fix wand

Paper towels

General Directions:

1. Wash bud vases with hot, soapy dish detergent, rinse & dry well with paper towels.

2. Gently peel one of the sparkle borders from the stencil sheet

3. Wrap the stencil around the bud vase in a spiral fashion at such an angle so it wraps all the way around from the top to the bottom. Make sure all of the cutouts are firmly secured to the glass.

4. Cover entire vase with masking tape, overlapping all edges.

5. Load your brush with Etch Cream. PAT the cream onto the stencil. Do not brush it on like your painting. It will not frost as nicelyView the directions and How To video HERE

6. Turn the vase upside down (so no water will go inside while rinsing) and rinse off all the Etch cream under running warm water. Remove tape and stencils and rinse again.

OPTIONAL: After you have etched the bud vases, glue small rhinestones along the design. 2 sizes adds interest, apply sparingly .
