#61-3342 Gem Tac glue
Paper towels
Small latch lid canister jar
Fine black paint pen or acrylic paint and small liner brush
4mm yellow rhinestone
Directions:
1. Wash jar with hot soap and water. Dry thoroughly
2. Gently peel off the letters to spell Honey from the Over N Over alphabet stencil sheet and apply to the middle of the jar, with the edges of the letters overlapping each other left to right.
3. Surround the stencil with masking tape, then cover the entire side of the jar all the way down to the bottom, overlapping all edges.
4. Dip the brush that came in the etching kit into the etching cream and load the brush fully, but not dripping. Pat the cream onto the letters (do not brush it on) until they are thoroughly covered with cream. Wait 5 minutes
5. Rinse the cream from the jar under running tap water, with the water running away from the lid (so none gets inside the jar). Remove masking tape and letters, then rinse again. Dry the jar off.
6. Find the block of four bee stencils in the Deluxe Etching Kit .Cut them from the stencil sheet as one solid block. It will be easier to apply them as a larger stencil sheet.
7. Hold the stencil over the word Honey, rub down one of the bees using the popsicle stick.
8. Apply the other three bees under the word Honey, one at each end, and one in the middle. Tilt the outer ones with head down, the middle one with head up.
9. Cut a daisy from the stencils that came in the kit. Apply it next to the letter Y
10. Surround all the stencils with masking tape. Cover the rest of the entire side of the jar all the way down to the bottom, overlapping all edges the same way you did before.
11. Pat the cream onto the letters (do not brush it on) until they are thoroughly covered with cream. Wait only 2 minutes this time
12. Rinse the cream from the jar, with the water running away from the lid (so none gets inside the jar). Remove masking tape and stencils, then rinse again. Dry the jar off.
13. Make little black dashes behind each bee (see photo) with the paint pen or paint using a small liner brush
14. Place a small dot of glass glue in the center of the daisy and apply the rhinestone. Set aside to dry.
