This amethyst wine glass was so elegant and vintage looking, that we etched it with just a simple daisy design and added a purple rhinestone in the center to tie it all together.

Directions can be found on this site. See the video. Click HERE 1. Cut the large daisy from the stencil sheet. 2. Apply the stencil dull side down (blue side) to the center of the glass. Place some pieces of masking tape to the edges to temporarily hold the stencil in place. 3. Rub over the face of the stencil (plastic side should be facing up) with provided Popsicle stick until the blue stencil has transferred to the glass. Remove plastic cover sheet, gently rub over stencil with frosted paper. 4. Cover all exposed areas of the glass around the stencil with masking tape, overlapping all the edges. Entire side of face of glass should be covered with tape up to the lip. 5. PAT the Armour Etch Cream on the stencils until completely covered with about 1/4 inch of cream. (do not brush it on like you are painting)
6. Wait 2 minutes. 7. Turn the glass upside down. Rinse off the Etch cream under very warm running water until no cream is visible. Remove the stencil and tape and rinse again |
