Thanksgiving Cornocopia Plate

Materials:

“Made-To-Order” Adhesive Backed Glass Etching Stencils are a 3-part stencil consisting of a top carrier sheet that holds all the stencil pieces in place during the application process, the center or actual stencil itself, and the backing sheet that protects the adhesive side of the stencil.

Clean all of the glass thoroughly to remove all finger prints and dust. I cut the stencils from the master sheet, removed the backing sheet and applied the adhesive backed stencil in place on the glass. Peel the top carrier sheet off exposing the actual stencil. Use a hobby knife or similar tool to pick out the pieces of the stencil where you want the etching to take place. Once the entire stencil has been picked or “weeded”, surround the stencil with masking tape, creating a frame, slightly overlapping the stencil, to protect the surrounding glass from the etching cream.

Brush on a thick layer of Armour Etch Cream covering the entire stencil. You want to cover the design completely with a thick layer of etching cream. View the directions and How To Videos.

Wait 60-90 seconds and then take the project over to the sink and rinse off all the etching cream.

When all the etching cream has been rinsed off, remove all the remaining stencil pieces and clean the glass thoroughly with window cleaner.
