Glass Gel Effects

Step-by-step instructions for GLASS EFFECT GEL:

PLACING A DOT/DROP: Apply pressure to the top end of tube to determine the size of the drop you wish to create. Please bear in mind that on curved or upright standing objects you should make smaller sized dots/drops. Large dots might smear or run.

STENCIL: Place a self-sticking removable stencil onto the object. Squeeze out some of the gel onto the stenciled area. Use a spatula or a piece of plastic (an old credit card works fine) to apply gel evenly over the stenciled area. Carefully remove the stencil and let dry.

DAB: Use a sponge to dab the gel onto the object. This will create a transparent effect.

DRYING TIME: 3 to 4 hours.

IMPORTANT: Glass or china objects painted with Glass Effect Gel should be hand washed in warm water only.

Hold the Pearl Pen in an upright position squeezing the pen slowly until the pearl drop has the desired size.

Initially when you squeeze the Pearl Pen the drop will appear tapered and pointed, but will change within a few seconds to create a half pearl on your chosen item.

DRYING TIME: 6 to 8 hours.

IMPORTANT: Please wait 24 hours before wearing the fabric item you have just decorated with the Pearl Pen. Decorated fabrics are washable up to 86 degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees Celsius).
Iron fabrics on the reverse side placing little pressure on any soft surface (ie: towel). When using an electric iron, adjust setting to a maximum of level 2. We also recommend placing ironing paper between the decoration and the ironing fabric.
